Day and night offered no excuses
١. وكنتُ إذا ما حاجَةٌ حالَ دونَها
نهارٌ وليلٌ ليسَ يَعتَذِرانِ
2. I blamed fate for opposing it
And did not burden my brothers with the guilt of my time
٢. حَمَلتُ على ظَهرِ القَضاءِ مَلامَها
ولم أُلزمِ الإخوانَ ذَنبَ زَماني
