3. And the promise was fulfilled in a meeting
Which brought it happiness and delight

4. The eyes of nights married it
As downpours rushing to it in images

5. No harm that the dark-eyed maidens are absent
From a caravan they’re present with in spirit

6. Camels of forbearance, seas of knowledge
Oceans seem small beside their worth

7. They're crowned with gravity, dressed in dignity
The Bedouins are amazed by their beauty

8. Goodness is only through and in them
Wherever they camped, guidance and light

9. They're people's example, not courtiers
Another claiming thus speaks lies

10. Through them, were they not, we'd perish
Affairs solved or tangled

11. Kindness didn't disappear from a friendship
In which their names are writ

12. Gifts and incense shone
So how could songbirds not trill?

13. There, your warbling's impassioned
With you it's never unjust

14. Every bird drones in ardour
It has no lassitude from you

15. It trained its beak to praise
Propagating knowledge is its habit

16. It preserves your favours in thanks
The thankful didn't waste blessings

17. Sublimity didn't become desolate of you
Nor hearts empty of you

18. You remain a refuge and treasury
To mend what time ruins
