1. On an amber night of horizons
I quenched my joy along its paths

A fire from the wind that soothed my burns

3. It came upon us in leisure, having worn
A transparent garment, peeled from the pupils

4. So time brought it, from among its loved ones, a love
With youths like the morning in alignment

5. Their faces stood for us in grace
Their scent with the stars and the sunset glow

6. The moon rose from the bending of a branch
Upon which hearts flutter like leaves

7. A sun worshipper appeared, his years showing
Is this moon not for that horizon?

8. He extended from his cheek's redness
A white palm, musk-scented and fragrant

9. I left it a moistened rose
Bearing lilies on a platter

10. Drinking the wind when I drink it
What life remains in its lashes from vigor
