1. God has granted you unmatched victory
And turned your resolve from loss to attainment

2. Release the reins of a steed you ride
And hold its hand, leaving it to the King

3. Until it leads to the best outcome confidently
A guide shows you the way, not failing you

4. After you, the enemies had a kingdom
Until the sphere of heaven turned against them

5. The horsemen marched with you or the sky carried them
And now the enemies are bound in a net

6. You left no tribe unalarmed
Nor any settlement you did not vanquish

7. They slept but no sleepy one out of spite
Prisoners when there was a chance to escape

8. So you made them God's attacking soldiers in the morning
And the dawn overflowed with the tears of daybreak

9. From every audacious one like a dejected star
Their souls overflow with rage from torment

10. So they wounded you with spears but you were not wounded
And struck you with swords but they did not scratch

11. Slaughter came upon them prematurely
And the sacrifice was offered, every worshipper

12. The birds gathered and the beasts halted
Weighed down by the enemies' meat, unable to move

13. It came upon every troublemaker among them
Putrid in a wide throat and palate

14. You are all congratulated, splendid, thank the King
Whose swords brought you rest in every clash

15. If the skulls were piled when they were scattered
The valleys would meet the dunes

16. Keep going and seek its vanished past for the rest of time
For the day of Badr established spoils in Fadak

17. And how many days have you attained glory
In Maqat, with lance tips entangled

18. With the stricken, collapsed dead, joined in death
In white, clad in armor, intertwined in red

19. So the mountain passes to the rugged passes to
Uriyulah's trodden paths to the roads

20. And how much bitterness for Mahmud and his neighbors
The Romans suffered from unremitting torment

21. You performed your duty until it was said they betrayed
You sought God's victory by attainment

22. So you submitted them to Islam after their betrayal
And the sword took what was indecent in religion

23. O supreme King in his determination
To please God, do not neglect to satisfy the King

24. Good tidings continually reach you and
Others of distress to the charging steeds

25. With them you brightened the face of the Commander of the Faithful
And the land was rid of the darkness of disbelief

26. So victory was felt and his pulpits shook
With mention of the most wondrous disgrace for the infidels

27. You made him and those loyal to him eternally
Enduring in righteous, God-fearing devotion

28. You came and the rain shouted with joy
When you were victorious - how much it wept with laughter

29. And God completed the good you began
In every downpour from Him and every shower

30. And soon the land will boast of blossoms
That turn its sky green with beauty

31. So return and lead and rely and thank and bar
And say and connect and aspire and conquer and tear down

32. And God is enough, unique support for you
His victory satisfies you against any sharer
