1. Honor them, the ever-giving as they rise and set
Like suns, dawning and darkening

2. They plowed the seas and crossed the tumultuous waves
And cultivated horizons from east to west

3. They gently tended to the wounded with remedy
And dutifully cared for the ailing patient

4. They are angels sent from the Most High
As graceful maidens from God to mankind

5. The precious gems and the radiant
Flowers and the veiled celestial bodies

6. These chaste maidens carrying rays
Dispelling gloom from the grieving heart

7. They came to the cross as women had
On the day of the cross, weeping and grieving

With thorns, frail and pale

10. Their hearts melted in agony
And their souls wept showers of pearly sorrows

11. Now that nations have abandoned the law
That Christ shone with piercing brilliance

12. Commanding its people with righteousness and good deeds
And forbidding the drawing of vengeful swords

13. It is as if they crucified him again
And the herald of war becomes the crucifier

14. Thus they are the ones lamenting his path
While praising the beginnings and the ends

15. His sisters and kin, as the prophecy
Instructed the wilderness, revealing and addressing

16. The inheritors of Virgin Mary's affection
Near and far, for all worlds

17. Of high and noble descent, outstretched hands
Bestowing blessings and grants

18. And lowly ones, whom time has tested
Leaving them only a life of troubles

19. They devoted their lives to loving the kinsman
And followed the straight exemplary traditions

20. For God, the Just Judge rewarding and punishing
Has guaranteed their reward

21. Blessed are their deeds, for they are the companions
Of those tried by tribulations, and their bosom friends
