1. Black beads around the neck are strung
Whenever seen by hearts they're stung
١. لبِسَت في الجيدِ عِقداً أسوداً
كلما أبصره القلبُ يذوب
2. The thread is but continuous desire
And beads are made of hearts entire
٢. إنما السِلك هوىً متصلٌ
ولآلي العِقدِ حباتُ قلوب
