1. Oh, if only I and the beloved of my heart

To adorn her blooming forehead

10. Twisting them here and there
Composing, scattering as she goes

11. She looks at me radiantly
Like the wandering stars in the sky

12. I would ransom my soul, family and money
For her dazzling, lovely charms

13. She plucks some fruit from the branches
And feeds me with her pure hand

14. We come to the spring to drink
From cupped palms of the gushing stream

15. And sit atop the pebbles talking
Of every bloom that comes and goes

16. And in the night we watch the stars
And their revolving spheres on high

17. We confide about love and its creator
With our sleepless souls laid bare

18. The sun blesses us each morn
With the light of its fading rays

19. And we breathe in the fresh scented air
To revive our souls and senses

20. She smiles at me and draws near
Comforting me, the shy gazelle

21. She is the pearl of my life’s necklace
The rare, free pearl beyond compare

22. If I gained some of my wish
I would be content with this life and the next
