1. I blamed myself though able I had been,
So let me be, till God decrees as He has seen.

2. In knowledge I went astray, for I had not visited
The noblest Messenger, who the glory has won.

3. The tomb of God's Messenger, my journey's destination,
Especially after fulfilling the duty ordained.

4. To the Lord of the Throne I prayed to grant me
Arrival to that place, and my wish be obtained.

5. Assured that he will intercede for me
When I fear the Fire at the time of Reckoning.

6. He will provide shade while the Fire fiercely burns
To frighten us, provoking utmost horror.

7. His two companions, may God's peace be upon them,
Are innocent of whom heresy is attributed.

8. The Messenger of God will shine while Day of Resurrection is dark,
Illuminating between the heavens and earth wide.

9. I hoped for an intercessor to overlook my wrongdoings
On Judgment Day regarding his nation's lapses.

10. My conscience praises God, pleased with Ahmed,
Sufficient, if accepted, my imperfect effort.
