1. Muhammad, beloved of the Lord of the worlds
With him the beautiful mention concludes and commences

2. He memorized volumes, the like of which no creature has memorized some
And a dream except like a towering mountain, nay it is more steadfast

3. He guided us to guidance with his benevolent guidance
A prophet through whom the path of guidance is made clear

4. He is forbearing, so if a sinner approaches him
He hopes for pardon from him, he pardons and overlooks

5. We praise the God of creation for distinguishing us with him
And we praise Him after God and we laud Him

6. Of glorious endeavors, how many pebbles has his palm grasped
Then they left by God's permission while glorifying

7. A sword for the victory of truth, he became bare
At the station of denudation he spends the night and wakes

8. Sleep is forbidden upon my eyes, that which
Saddens it, a tear flows down my cheek

9. I have kept the covenants of the beloved, for whom
There is love in my heart, even if he does not come near, a love that makes happy

10. The dove of passion, unburden your complaints, indeed I
Unburden complaints and at times explicitly state
