1. Congratulations to the eye that has seen Ahmed's grave
And good tidings to the heart that has attained his resting place

2. He is Al-Mustafa, the Chosen One from the family of Hashim
And the one whose brilliance outshone the flowers of the stars

3. His guidance which has led us back from our misguidance
Oh woe to the heart that his love has not filled

4. Can pride be attributed to other than Muhammad?
I swear by the One who has granted him pride over all others

5. With my praise of him I have demolished what desire has built
So woe to those who construct sins as their passions

6. I have fled with my sins aiming towards praising him
And blessings to those whose endeavor is to please and obey him

7. Grant that I have committed all major sins
Would I still fear when my aim is towards Ahmad and his lofty abode?

8. Tears streamed from my eyes in regret
Over a life whose worth I did not know

9. I abandoned the pleasures of life when the youth departed
And is there any pleasure for man except his youth?

10. I asked God to relieve me of worries
And the greatest thing I hope for from Him is His pleasure
