١. ولم ألق في بيتي دثاراً أُعدُّهُ
لبردٍ ولا شيء يردُّ هجيرا
2. So blow into my cheek if you want a pillow,
And spread out my shadow if you want a mat.
٢. فأنفخ شِدقي إن أردتَ وسادةً
وأفرش ظلِّي إن أردت حصيرا
