1. We did not tire circling the orbits running,
And he who woos the heights is not satisfied.

2. In the forelocks of our horses a thousand suns
Fill the horizons, length and breadth.

3. Whenever the gloom tried to wrap something
Above its burrows, it bent away and withdrew.

4. And because the passion was an Ahmadi passion
They ripened against it, heaven and earth.

5. In the nature of life there is a wondrous secret
How this passion gives birth to hate.

6. Our orchard did not complain of murkiness and shade
Rather we complain of diseased people.

7. O you who come with roses, we shower
A thousand swords for the rosebuds are more cutting.

8. The sword rusts then perishes
Some of it in scabbards consumes the rest.

9. Our dawn rose singing and roses
And my Lord’s promise will be fulfilled.
