2. And pour upon the thirsty the nectar of passion,
Let not the mouth of the desirer remain bare.

3. The envious will multiply, so weave for them
From your overflowing heart, the finest response.

4. Be above them like a cloud and murmuring,
For only dew hurts not the rock.

Into his cramped cell, if he sings.

12. Leave them be, and rise above them a fortress,

13. And ride the steeds of song, saddle for them
The expanse of the horizon as verse, and be master.

14. And say to them: the age of conquests has ended,
And the like of this conquest will not be found.

But God's door will never be shut.
