1. The sun comes and goes but for me
Sunrise is like sunset

2. One takes away sleep from my eyelids
The other makes my heart melt until dissolved

3. At dawn I yearn, oh my inner self
And at nightfall, among the homes, I wander

4. I lament with poems after parting
And watch the days until they relent

5. If my lamentation were, for all people
A sin, then today I'd be nothing but sins

6. But the heart's solace is that sadness
Has become poetry, loved by all hearts
