1. The day after striking camp they left
Every resolute warrior setting out.

When its course is over ice.

7. I deserted their remains for in it
Were descriptions of wine far from sleep.

8. And I swear since an addicted drinker
Has dwelled in the lands a year after year.

9. When the people drink it they feel
Its tingling sensation in the bones.

10. With a sweeter taste than their kissing
When they wake from the sleep of slumber.

11. And I have not sipped their wine but
The vines of Bisham testify to that.

12. When their veils smile we say
The moonlight from beneath the cover.

13. The sickness of their eyelids is the sickness of my heart
And does sickness recover from sickness?

14. And near my ability and fervor
I find them with youth and passion.

15. I forgive sin when I am alert
And I dream of it when asleep.

16. A love with no fault or sin
If love is ruined by sins.

17. And I swear sincerely if my heart
Intended a base act my bones would betray me.

18. And I wrong them if I ever called
One of them, O’ perfect full moon.

19. As the dew wronged one who once compared
The dew to the drizzle of clouds.

20. A man whose hands are created for gifts
As the tongue is created for speech.

21. Poverty befell him so a noble one drew near
Whose honor divided the Most High equally.

22. So he favored his right hand for attaining or restraining
And his left for spear or sword.

23. And he adorned me with gifts not hidden
And how can the adornments of a pigeon be hidden?

24. He revived virtues after death
And rebuilt them after destruction.

25. And he portions his wealth in every delegation
Like the meat of the body in the sacred lands.

26. With the palm of his cheek the people have water
Like the water on the surface of a sword.

27. And I have never seen a lion before him
Who welcomes guests with greetings and peace.

28. His coat of mail sounds on a soft coat
My father Shibl, his claws always (ready).

29. A young man who met the tumult before the unsheathing (of swords)
And led its armies before puberty.

30. So he does not heed the waves until
The whale heeds in the deep dark-blue.

31. He leaves his spear while the spear is in him
A cross between monks standing in prayer.

32. The swords wrap him in blood
And the hooves bury him in darkness.

33. The blood of the enemy flows from every coat of mail
Like the flow of wine through the holes of bottles.

34. And they let them hear the speech of death loudly
With ears of repeated stabbings.

35. And his stab was no ear but
Hearing comes from the clashing of speech.

36. And the mouths of spears gape in the darkness
Dyed with blood instead of pomade.

37. He has from his soul someone always calling him
To the most lofty of ranks.

38. So the day of generosity he is lively for gifts
And the day of war lively for crowds.

39. If glory is attained by longing
Then the noble would have no merit over the vile.

40. Both his hands adorn every kingdom
Even if it was beauty to the people.

41. Thus is the pearl most beautiful to behold
On the neck of the buyer in order.

42. And the bounty of another is disgrace to him
Like a birthmark on the face of a flawless sword.

43. God saw him worthy of the eminent
So he raised him to the peaks of the generous.

44. So he reciprocated the blessings of his Creator with gratitude
And indeed, gratitude invites permanence.

45. His sons are for his army always imams
In the position of arrows from a quiver.

46. So may his sons be forever blessed arrows
And blessed is the arrow of the religion of God its shooter.

47. The call of the announcer is the same among them
“Come to the spears or the food!”

48. You have come good pilgrims and you were
The station of the corner from it and the standing place.

49. The messages of the Sultan have come to you pleased
And content with your gifts however small.

50. The messenger of our lord Nizar has come to you
With his ring honored among the people.

51. A security from all people absolutely
So he granted security and permanence.

52. And honored titles beautifully
And greetings of greetings and peace.

53. If the Imam feared your power one day
Then how could those besides the Imam be?

54. And whoever has God as their ally
Then how can they fear others?

55. To you I have made the chest of the experienced steed a path
I strike with strikes and counter strikes.

56. When the battle intensifies after being slow
It opens its mouth on the horse’s bit.

57. So how many kings do I leave on my right
And on my left when you are in front of me?

58. And I am not one blind to the sustenance of evil
I leave it but not out of greed.

59. If the coat of mail is content with the food of a dog
Then the difference is only in the names.

60. You suckled generosity before wealth an infant
And for the suckling of your generosity there is no weaning.

61. So the generosity of other than you is an arrow gone astray
And your generosity is an arrow from the hand of an archer.

62. So live and remain well my delight rises
And reaches what you hope for from purpose.
