1. You have appeared, O secret of meanings,
And your ancient secret has become manifest.

2. My heart is infatuated with desires,
And every infatuated one in you becomes lovesick.

3. Its light has truly become evident to me,
The great secret has settled in my heart.

4. O you who blames me for my shortcomings,
I am your beloved, exceeding the signs.

5. Sheikh of the Sufi order, my master Muhammad,
Al-Maztari, essence of righteousness.

6. O you who blames me in this Sufi order,
This has come to me from the men.

7. And whoever knows the truth,
Seeks it without fail.

8. He drinks and offers his companion
A drink from its wine, clear as running water.

9. I have drunk it, and the wine is with me
For every lover who loves the signs.
