١. لِأَلقى بَني عَيلانَ إِنَّ فِعالِهُم
تَزيدُ عَلى كُلِّ الفَعالِ مَراتِبُه
2. Those nobles with their swords split blindness wide
That truth might through that cleft sighted be.
٢. أَولاكَ الأُلى شَقّوا العَمى بِسُيوفِهِم
مِنَ العَينِ حَتّى أَبصَرَ الحَقَّ طالِبُه
