1. I long to meet with you, and by God
Why should you not allow us to meet?
١. إِنَّني أَشتَهي لِقاءَكَ وَاللَـ
ـهِ فَماذا عَلَيكَ أَن تَلقاني
2. The winds may entwine a bough of the bana tree
With one of its kind, and so they meet.
٢. قَد تَلُفُّ الرِياحُ غُصناً مِنَ البا
نِ إِلى مِثلِهِ فَيَلتَقِيانِ
