١. وَمِثلِكَ قَد سَيَّرتُهُ بِقَصيدَةٍ
فَسارَ وَلَم يَبرَح عِراصَ المَنازِلِ
2. I aimed him east and west, and he became
The lands filled full of settled folk and rovers.
٢. رَمَيتُ بِهِ شَرقاً وَغَرباً فَأَصبَحَت
بِهِ الأَرضُ مَلأى مِن مُقيمٍ وَراحِلِ
