1. She traced the lines of separation after intimacy
Of affection and inclination without hesitation

2. As if she unleashed arrows of calamity at me
Or recited verses of imminent doom

3. Did you miss me after the separation, or
Did the heart ignite longing after her vigilance?

4. She passed like a phantom then flashed away
Reciting with the wings of night the scriptures of tomorrow

5. I was not aware except for the tears that flowed
Increasing in heavy gloomy darkness

6. So I severed with hopes a pitch black night
And chided with remembrance the anguish of solitude
