And suggest to the soul what grieves

7. And the sheathed blades remember you
And the plains and horses mourn you

8. And the stars of the sky weep for you
And yearn for you but do not shine

9. And loyal love weeps for you
And my heart aches for you, my brother

10. Saeed, we confide in you ardently
And call on Saeed, can you hear?

11. O brother of the Arabs, such is the life
We go and return, and do not come back

12. It is but a flicker in the lamp
It will expire, then not shine again

13. You spent your life true to conscience
Speaking honestly, never afraid

14. You struggled in God’s cause sincerely
Benefiting your country as you could

15. And your people, O companion, may they know you
They did not look at or listen to you

16. So you lived a stranger, counting the nights
Waiting for a breakthrough to emerge

17. Until the call to jihad stirred you
And you responded without hesitation or fear

18. You came to repel the tide of time
But, my brother, what can repel destiny?

19. You died a martyr, gathered by the swords
Your remains, body, and weapons

20. You died great, with immortality confiding
In your imagination, eternity, and principles

21. And when your comrades fulfilled your right
Pleading for you, interceding on your behalf

22. This is your happiness, filling hearts
Captivating eyes and ears

23. And your steadfast qualities, forgetting
Those who live, remembering those who die

24. We will recall your eternal deeds
And follow your path, never afraid
