1. A gazelle hastened to me with welcome news

١. وَغَزَالٍ سَعى إِلَيَّ بِرَاحٍ
قَدْ حَكَتْهُ بِالسَّوِيَّةْ
2. In his palm the sweetest drink
And on his cheeks the loveliest greeting
٢. فَهِيَ فِي كَفِّهِ أَجَلُّ شَرَابٍ
وَهِيَ في وَجْنَتَيْهِ أَبْهى تَحِيَّةْ
