1. You have good tidings, so reap the utmost hope,
For your stature has matured with burdens.

2. Today, the days have become obedient to you,
And fate has come to you gently.

3. Today, you have gained a position that none can attain
Except one who was above the sun or Saturn.

4. Today, you have gained magnificent and lofty glory,
A towering glory that predators did not attain in ancient times.

5. Today, you have been granted an undisputed right,
Not a metaphor, idiom, rising fortune, or acceptance.

6. Today, the eyes of religion have been lined with the kohl
Of victory's insomnia, so they have adorned over drowsiness.

7. Today, Islam is busy with delight,
And the brother of Islam is busy with vigor.

8. So receive the good news, for after today, no glory remains
For those who were once the squeezers of the first era.

9. After your deterrence of the brothers of conflict, is there any glory left
For those who envied your nobility, fading and gentle?

10. And have you left any glory for the visitors of honors
Other than remoteness or the foolishness of friendship?

11. You float in seas filled with glory,
While your detractors have sipped from them in sips.

12. You have marched, and victory has marched wherever you marched,
While rising fortune flowed near halting places and travelers.

13. You lead an army with fluttering flags
Like the bird whose heart settled in vegetation due to hardship.

14. What a fine alliance of lions you have led,
Assailing and deterring the crafty and deceitful lion.

15. Atop the backs of galloping steeds that have
Stabbing under the armors, the strikes of courageous men.

16. How many clear stabs they have, which make
The tips of arrows disappear, soaking them in blood and slaughter.

17. A group of Turks in the battlefield, their habit
Is to flee the opponent, backing away in disgrace.

18. They do not refrain, and their tongues have not desisted
From attaining what they hope for in war, from wishes.

19. Rather, their habit in the battle fray is advancing,
Which makes every helmeted hero flee in haste.

20. Booty does not distract them from their opponent,
Rather, their goal is to take the souls of the fierce.

21. As if angels from the Lord support them,
Coming at the time with inevitability.

22. You have led them in droves, and their cities'
Plains, foothills, and mountains flowed with the blood of Kurds.

23. You have cast at the fortress of Bani Ma'a al-Sama, when
They disobeyed you and sought refuge in horses and men.

24. Yet when the horror arrived at dawn, their great numbers
Did not avail them, for horror had shed its severity.

25. Rather, they fled in escape to the fortresses, so they
Could be saved from the sword and throes.

26. And the chiefs of Bani Ma'a al-Sama thought
They could be saved by Qumjuqah from a grave event,

27. Since its firm, towering structure fortified it,
Raised above all heights.

28. Kharqa, steady in earth, towering in sky,
Produced 'Iyyaq during pregnancy in burdens.

29. As if it were the tower when meteors surrounded it,
Pelting the tailed with a palace in simile.

30. It became surrounded by two walls in morning,
The strongest being the cannon with flame.

31. So the soldiers of God approached it, led
By the lion of the lair, and they came to it in haste.

32. And the lion and cubs followed it,
And it was ripped apart without fear or reluctance.

33. The sword was brandished in zeal from joy,
And the body danced atop the back from vigor.

34. And the arrows sang the song of one yearning
For homelands, and the bricks became, at night, chanting.

35. And Ahmad announced to his supporters, saying:
"Let us hasten, not slowly!"

36. So there is no benefit other than fleeing, for Ahmad's
Soldiers have no precedent on this day.

37. And they gained no benefit other than evident loss, and in
History, Ahmad had gained glory at the time of death.

38. O day of Qumjuqah! Have you forgotten what conquests passed
In the early eras?

39. God established the pillar of religion in you, just as
He weakened the fortresses of the people of defiance and malice.

40. And the thorn of Islam became prominent when
Qumjuqah was lowered, with its people of ignorance and nonsense.

41. It became empty, burdened with captivity,
As honor left it, and disgrace settled with it,

42. And the owl cries over the ruins and remnants.
So you rose over it like the lion over a plain,

43. Leaving none remaining in it, following you in food.
You marched, and good fortune surrounded the army in victory,

44. And success escorted you in conveyance.
You are adorned in two garments woven

45. Between the edges of rising fortune and acceptance.
You seek Saraqus, for it was its sister

46. In defiance and injustice, in action and deed.
Two sisters who suckled disobedience at the spring

47. And were nourished with the milk of injustice in softness.
And Suleym took refuge in it, fearing your might,

48. Never ceasing to obtain from you in trickery.
Supporting the Kharijites, but even inciting

49. The head of conflict, the pillar of defiance and dispute.
It was certainly kneaded with the water of betrayal in its substance

50. From the moment of its creation, cunning, and tricks.
Oh woe to him! Where can he escape, befriending

51. Traitors in every desolate place and gentle valley?
Can Saraqus and its fortresses save him?

52. While Ahmad's resolve crumbles boulders in the hills?
Can he imagine being saved by its fortress

53. From the lion's assault or the hero's attack?
Never! For he cannot escape the lion of the lair, even if

54. He disappeared into a crevice in earth or entered.
Good tidings, Abu Adil, you have triumphed

55. In what you seek, and this victory is clear to you.
The rising of fortune and favor has appeared

56. To you, so wear its cloak without pretending.
Yemen and auspiciousness have chosen you since old,

57. And you have attained victory since the ancient.
