2. Flocks of birds to their nests
Hastening from north and south

Moving carefully like snakes

5. A flame in its water igniting it
Gold on the horizon melting away

6. A scene perfected by its Creator
Bringing together aspects of beauty

7. If my eyes find pleasure in it
Then my heart feels sadness and agony

8. Everything in it is beautiful yet
Every beauty is marred by ugliness

9. The sun has set here but it has
Risen over other lands and peoples

10. Except that people, how much they need
Suns shining in their hearts

11. Every day that has passed is a stage
Whoever traverses it tastes no sweetness

12. The expanses of lifespans have shortened
Then grown long with troubles and worries

13. Whenever I set my mind I never find
Escape from the arena of life

14. We have ignored what we were skilled in and how much
Was veiled from the eyes of people

15. The night has arrived with an army of sorrows
Will we see the fading sun

16. The night may bring ease to someone who
Has a rising in place of the sunset
