1. You prayed that Allah make the best of them,
And you are worthy of this prayer and its righteousness.

2. The aggressors intended evil with it, but it destroyed them,
The Lord of the pure souls is well aware of it.

3. Had they betrayed the covenant around their necks,
It would have kindling and embers from Mina.

4. So they would break the confirmation of covenants with Him,
Its houses would be rubble while they stand roofless.

5. And a people whose blood, if you wanted to shed it,
Their deeds would arouse it if you stirred them.

6. They saw what they fear from the One whose might
Was absent from them when their value was lost.

7. You pardoned them with abundant clemency, like musk
In its pod is atop the aromas of Hindi oils.

8. After Mus'ab passed away, your father left troops.
He slipped away from them while earnestly calling many of them.

9. You are the most deserving of people of justice and piety,
And you are the fertile land of the living and its purity.

10. Thus you two became among us like David and his son,
On a path by which one guided is led aright.
