Her darkness and night journey exhaust her

3. To the glorious ancestor with pure carpentry
Raised to the highest by al-Kuraiz and al-Aamir

4. The dew of those who died has faded except for the son of Aamir
Their dew faded but his dew the graves could not hide

5. O aunt of the best of guidance, I found you white
O sons of guidance, and God knows people's inner thoughts

6. From Abd Shams you branched out, exalted
His noble roots made you branches reaching high

7. Kings, sons of kings, and masters
With overwhelming authority, lofty over people

8. They are the best of Batahawiy Lu'ay bin Ghalib
With them the vast oceans swelled

9. You burst forth from the essence and secret
With you Batahaw overwhelmed the apparent glories
