1. We have reached on the backs of our souls
The land of Ibn Marwan’s coast

2. A flyer that was the Hajjaj’s ship
You see the waves aiding it harmfully

3. It brought us to Kufa the open
In three days from the high seas

4. To the waves that were
I swear by the hanging necks

5. That were forced from the heads of prophets their skins
A gift led to where the blood is for it

6. To moisten from the drippings of intestines, cotton
I will praise you with praise that cannot be matched

7. By any praise over any praise done before
My praise will reach Abu Al-Ashbal

8. Who was in Al-Ghour or settled in Khorasan
It is as if it is gilded gold dotted

9. By the tongue of the most eloquent of earth, a devil
A people who refused vulgarity to reach their neighbor

10. And made pillars against adversities
And those who cocked their heads

11. When the coward saw death’s colors
They are the knights who protected the women when

12. They went out hurriedly on the day of panic in slippers
While you are from a people who protect their mothers-in-law

13. A blow that mutilates souls and bodies
Bajila’s knights, if they met

14. And people drew swords in the morning naked
They protected sanctuary with stabbing that only

15. Their spears to death prevented whoever came
The clement whose clementness did not weaken

16. And the heaviest against enemies in the scale
And the quick who hurried to host their guests if they descended

17. And the most impervious people on the day of panic, neighbors
Bajila’s hands are hands that are not matched

18. By the hands of one who stabs when he meets peers
A people who have a lofty lineage whose elevation

19. They built over the builders of glory edifices
So whoever strives hoping for their striving

20. Will find for them, besides it, branches and pillars
A people when their voices were raised, they defeated

21. Those who claimed among horses they had knights
He gives gifts of generosity that cannot be matched

22. By a giver, nor after what is given by an obliger
I saw Abu Al-Ashbal steadfast

23. The mountains braced him like Aad during Khuffan
A guest with an eagle’s eye that always has for him

24. Flesh for one who seizes it for the people dirty
He protected Al-Biraz so no one travels it

25. And did not leave in the darkness of the night a human
As for one-on-one, no single one can stand against him
