1. People differ until we unite for them,
And no difference when Mudar agrees.

2. From us come the shoulders and necks advancing,
And the head from us, in it hearing and sight.

3. We pledge allegiance to none but Allah,
Other than the swords when vision is dazzled.

4. And whoever inclines, inclines the lofty crown
Where the hairline meets the top of his head.

5. As for the enemy, we do not incline to them
Until stone yields to the grinding molar.
