My anger towards them will surely grow

8. You see people fleeing towards us
When it brandishes its wings around the quarters

9. You see every house dependent on our houses
When their domes are struck on both sides

10. When Qais wear clothes, you hear them
Glorifying from the coarseness of their clothes

11. Amer took from Qais of 'Ailan
Possessions their dogs had collected

12. If my seas frighten Ma'add's pastures
Indeed Luqman ibn 'Ad used to fear them

13. Your father was busy with pregnant she-camels
Their udders swelling and being milked

14. Are you anything but a slave of Watb and 'Ulbah
Who bleats when the prophets bleat their udders?

15. Have you not seen the land complain
To Allah of the foul dust of Dukhan's sons?

16. I made a curse from Allah descend upon Qais
Its torment will not leave them
