3. He admonished at eve when he parted from his comrades
At martyrdom and Safeehah he spurred his mount

4. Indeed the son of Dabba was the best father
And most perfect in lineage of the generous and most noble

5. Than those whose lineage stems from Bani Kilab
Or those who seek alliance through them

6. They relinquished leadership to the son of Muzaiqiyah
While the horses sniffed each other's docked tails

ูุฒูููููุงุกู ุชููุงุฒูููุง
ููุงูุฎูููู ุจูููู ุนูุฌุงุฌูุชูููุง ุงูููุณุทููู
7. It was they who came to the aid of Al-Ameel
A blessing brought to the leader, though shackled

ุงู ููุดูููู ุฅููู ุงูุฑูุฆูุณู ููููุนูููู
8. And bound Muharraq's hands to him
With his constrained brother's chains

9. Two kings they killed at Bazakha

10. It was they who climbed Umรขrah, striking
Above its affairs, no pact could reach

11. When the great men shared control, they restored it
To Dabba, though the stirrups slipped

12. An ally, when the ignoble betrayed he kept faith with him
Lineage and a gloried man's pledge never fails

Blows disturbing the comfort of its cushions

14. O son of Maraghah, where is your uncle?
My uncle is Hubaysh, of most noble deeds

15. My uncle who stripped kings of their souls
And to him the love of Jafnah was transferred
