1. Kindle the fire, for the night is cold
And the wind, O kindler, is biting cold
١. أَوقِد فَإِنَّ اللَيلَ لَيلٌ قَرُّ
وَالريحَ يا موقِدُ ريحٌ صِرُّ
2. May he who passes see your fire
If you bring a guest, you are free
٢. عَسى يَرى نارَكَ مَن يَمُرُّ
إِن جَلَبَت ضَيفاً فَأَنتَ حُرُّ
