With glad tidings and congratulations renewed,

2. For the dawn has broken and there comes
The song of daybreak; the feast's slumber is past.

3. And if flaws and defects abound,
Rebuke them with the laughter of vine leaves.

4. For the breeze has cooled, and comes hastening
With slender waists and young trees swaying.
