1. I knew the men of Muzaḥiǧ that I
Am the protector knight when people are annoyed

2. I was patient with the people of Qadisiya teaching
And the like of me, when people are not patient, is patient

3. And I stabbed them with the spear until they scattered
And I struck them with the sword until they broke

4. That's how my father and my father's father instructed me
That's how they instructed me, so I do not fall short

5. I praised my God when He guided me to His religion
So to Allah I strive as long as I live and thank
