1. O You Deceived by God
Flee from God to God

2. And take refuge in Him and ask of His bounty
Indeed, one who takes refuge in God is delivered

3. And stand before Him while night spreads its wings
Blessed is one who stands for God

4. Recite from revelation even if a verse
With which you are clothed with light from God

5. Rub your face to the ground bowing before Him
Noble is the face that humbles itself before God

6. No bliss compares to conversing with Him
For one devoutly sincere to God

7. Keep away from sin, go not near it
For staying away is being near God

8. O You Seeking status without piety
You know not what draws you near God

9. No status save the status on Judgment Day
When none judge but God

10. One made happy in a lofty Garden
In God's mercy

11. Residing in Firdaws under a dome
Of pearls in God's neighborhood

12. While one decreed misery in scorching Hell
In God's wrath

13. Is dragged on his face into the Fire
By God's precedent decree

14. Wondrous is one certain of recompense
Yet scarce in fear of God

15. As if informed of his safety
From God

16. O Lord of an arrogant tyrant
Struck by an arrow from God

17. Which unleashed death within him though many
Are silenced by God's arrows

18. Time betrayed him and his partisans
Availed him nothing against God

19. He was forcibly extracted from palaces to the graves
Surrendered to God

20. Held hostage therein for what he had reaped
Fearing God's wrath

21. He has no might nor power
Might and power belong to God

22. O companion journeying the land to see
God's signs above it

23. How many lessons beneath it
In nations gone to God

24. Of kings among them and commanders
Their mustering is slight to God

25. Observe with your eyes the expanse of the sky
And the wisdom of God within it

26. You see the orbits revolving
Witnessing God's sovereignty

27. Unceasing since set in motion
In awe of God

28. Without account being taken of them
Or fear of that feared from God

29. It and what is unseen and what has appeared
Are signs in God's grasp

30. They declare God's oneness upon His Throne
In His unseen, command belonging to God

31. None in the heavens and earth
Is named but God by God

32. God's sanctuary is impenetrable
Nothing comes near God's sanctuary

33. Nothing is sweeter to mouths
Than declaring unity and praising God

34. No heart is reassured
Except by one who fills it with remembrance of God

35. If he sees ambiguity in his faith
He withholds out of fear of God

36. Or if want or wealth befall him
He meets both with gratitude to God

37. Whoever's guidance be such
Is deserving of God's approval

38. He is under God's protection in life
And in his grave and beyond

39. Tomorrow you see him secure
For fearing God today

40. How ugly is an old man
When foolish in ignorance of God

41. While well-stricken in years
His white hair ushering him insistently to God

42. Why, when he recovers, does he not see
His white hair prohibiting him from God

43. As if cataracts clouded his heart
And he became veiled from God

44. No excuse for an ignorant in ignorance
Let alone a knower of God

45. Two abodes inevitable for us
By God's grace and justice

46. I know not my place in them
Except I trust in God

47. Wondrous is a servant such is his state
Turning from obedience to God

48. Oh my misery if my assumption proves wrong tomorrow
And I am not encompassed in God's mercy

49. Finding myself in the Fire a wretched brother
We seek refuge from that in God

50. How many disgraces lie hidden in us
Exposed in presentation to God

51. In a space wherein all humanity
Bow heads to God

52. You see among them many a winner
Robed by a veil from God

53. So praise be to God for the blessing of Islam
Then praise be to God
