1. Take the straight paths
And be patient even if you are burdened
١. اِسلُك مِنَ الطُرُقِ المَناهِج
وَاصبِر وَإِن حُمِّلتَ لاعِج
2. Cast away your worries lest you perish
For they have outlets
٢. وَانبِذ هُمومَكَ أَن تَضي
قَ بِها فَإِنَّ لَها مَخارِج
3. Fulfill the needs as much as you can
And relieve your brother's worries
٣. وَاقضِ الحَوائِجَ ما استَطَع
تَ وَكُن لِهَمِّ أَخيكَ فارِج
4. So the best day for a young man
Is a day he fulfills the needs
٤. فَلَخَيرُ أَيّامِ الفَتى
يَومٌ قَضى فيهِ الحَوائِج
