1. Alas Hiraqlah cries out with ruin
From the victorious king, right in judgment

2. Tomorrow Harun thunders with death
And lightnings with the unsheathed blades

3. And standards in which victory descends
Passing as though they were clouds' fragments

4. Commander of the faithful you have conquered so accept Islam
And rejoice in the booty and the return
