1. My soul is attached to something of this world
God and Al-Mahdi are enough for it
١. نَفسي بِشَيءٍ مِنَ الدُنيا مُعَلَّقَةٌ
اللَهُ وَالقائِمُ المَهدِيُّ يَكفيها
2. I often despair of it, then it feeds me
Your contempt in it for this world and what is in it
٢. إِنّي لَأَيأَسُ مِنها ثُمَّ يُطعِمُني
فيها اِحتِقارُكَ لِلدُنيا وَما فيها
