١. أُمسي وَأُصبِحُ مِن تَذَكُّرِكُم
وَكَأَنَّ بي طَرفاً مِنَ المَسِّ

Has made me gaunt, my body wasted
٢. وَكَأَنَّني مِمّا تَطاوَلَ بي
مِنكَ السَقامُ طُليتُ بِالوَرسِ
3. Truly, I'm weary of life because of what
You've made me suffer, what you've put me through
٣. وَلَقَد بَرِمتُ مِنَ الحَياةِ لِما
ضَمَّنتَني وَعَرَضتَ مِن نَفسي
