1. What is the state of one who dwells in the earth? What is his state?
He spent the evening when over there his ropes were cut
2. He spent the evening when neither the spirit of life strikes him
Nor does the kindness of a loved one reach him
3. He spent the evening lonely, dreary, isolated
Scattered after everyone were his dependents
4. He spent the evening when the beauty of his face was erased
And his limbs in his grave scattered
