سَتَسلُكُ المَسلَكَ الَّذي سَلَكا
2. You will leave this place empty, just as
Those before you left it empty
٢. أَنتَ سَيَخلو المَكانُ مِنكَ كَما
أَخلاهُ مَن كانَ فيهِ قَبلُ لَكا
3. As if the one with wandering eyes
Just played and toyed around, and saw ruin
٣. كَأَنَّ ذا العَينِ في تَطَرُّفِها
لَعباً وَلَهواً قَد عايَنَ الهَلَكا
4. Whoever does not take what is rightfully his with the hand of righteousness
Calamities have more right to what he owns than him
٤. مَن لَم يَحُز ما لَهُ يَدُ البِرِّ فَال
آفاتُ أَولى مِنهُ بِما ما لَكا
