1. Glory to your Lord, how long will you refuse to repent
While your head is sprinkled with gray hair

2. Glory to your Lord of Majesty, do you not see
How the vicissitudes of time assail you continuously

3. Glory to your Lord, how does desire conquer you
Glory to Him, verily desire is easily conquered

4. Glory to your Lord, you persist in neglecting
Reforming yourself, sinking into languor and grief

5. Glory to your Lord, how can a man delight
In living when he himself is wanted dead or alive
