1. You deserve all praise, O Lord of the Throne, O Best One to Worship
And O Best One to be asked of, and O Best One to be Praised
١. لَكَ الحَمدُ يا ذا العَرشِ يا خَيرَ مَعبودِ
وَيا خَيرَ مَسؤولٍ وَيا خَيرَ مَحمودِ
2. We bear witness, O Allah, that You have no father
But You are the Patron, and were not begotten
٢. شَهِدنا لَكَ اللَهُمَّ أَن لَستَ والِداً
وَلَكِنَّكَ المَولى وَلَستَ بِمَولودِ
3. And that You are Known but cannot be described
And You Exist but cannot be limited
٣. وَأَنَّكَ مَعروفٌ وَلَستَ بِمَوصوفٍ
وَأَنَّكَ مَوجودٌ وَلَستَ بِمَجدودِ
4. And that You are a Lord who remains and always has
Near, far, absent, never lost
٤. وَأَنَّكَ رَبٌّ لا تَزالُ وَلَم تَزَل
قَريباً بَعيداً غائِباً غَيرَ مَفقودِ
