1. Turn to God, not to this or that one,
For you are God's servant and God is your guardian.
١. إِلى اللَهِ فَارغَب لا إِلى ذا وَلا ذاكَ
فَإِنَّكَ عَبدُ اللَهِ وَاللَهُ مَولاكا
2. And if you want to live safe from harm,
Be, as long as you live, for the evildoers, forgiving.
٢. وَإِن شِئتَ أَن تَحيا سَليماً مِنَ الأَذى
فَكُن لِشِرارِ الناسِ ما عِشتَ تَرّاكا
