1. Every life has an end,
And everything has a final hour.

2. Glory to Him who inspired me with His praise,
He who is the First and the Last.

3. He who reigns eternally in His kingdom,
He who is the Hidden and the Manifest.

4. O He who determines the course of time with His bliss,
None can deter or hinder Him.

5. The arrow of fate has struck you, O heedless one,
And death overwhelms with its might.

6. O Lord, I am Your hopeful and thankful servant
In all that You decree.

7. Forgive my abundant sins,
And conceal my faults, for You are the Concealer.
