1. How long, O lost in bewilderment, in bewilderment of yours
May God reform and heal him
١. حَتّى مَتى ذو التيهِ في تيهِهِ
أَصلَحَهُ اللَهُ وَعافاهُ
2. The people of bewilderment are lost in their ignorance
And they die though having lost the way
٢. يَتيهُ أَهلُ التيهِ مِن جَهلِهِم
وَهُم يَموتونَ وَإِن تاهو
3. Whoever seeks honor to endure with it
Indeed, the honor of a man is his piety
٣. مَن طَلَبَ العِزَّ لَيَبقى بِهِ
فَإِنَّ عِزَّ المَرءِ تَقواهُ
4. Whoever does not hold fast to God among His creation
Is not one who hopes for Him and fears Him
٤. لَم يَعتَصِم بِاللَهِ مِن خَلقِهِ
مَن لَيسَ يَرجوهُ وَيَخشاهُ
