1. Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah from me,
He was nothing but a mercy for all people.

2. With him Allah revived hearts, just as
The clouds revive the barren earth.

3. He honored mankind by sending a bearer
Who guided and led people as an imam.

4. Truth stood firm through him,
While falsehood vanished and lost all standing.

5. The Messenger of Allah called to
The path of truth and abode of peace.

6. O eye that sleeps, awaken,
When fear and sweet dreams come together.

7. I dislike to meet my fate, but
The living cannot avoid their destiny.

8. Death in the abode of woe is inevitable,
Yet after death Allah will revive the bones.

9. O seeker of the world and its pleasures,
Can any kingdom endure forever?

10. Who dwells with the All-Merciful in His abode
Will have perfect bliss in full.
