1. Be content with living every condition;
You will prosper even if it be narrow.
١. إِرضَ بِالعَيشِ عَلى كُلِّ حالٍ
تَتَّسِع فيهِ وَإِن كانَ ضَنكا
2. The best of your days, if you but knew,
Is that in which good is hoped for from you.
٢. خَيرُ أَيّامِكَ إِن كُنتَ تَدري
يَومَ تُغشى يُرتَجى الخَيرُ مِنكا
3. Take advantage of one who needs you,
Before God makes him needless of you.
٣. إِغتَنِم حاجاً لِراجيكَ فيها
قَبلَ أَن يُغنِيَهُ اللَهُ عَنكا
