1. I have undertaken favors and efforts
With the strongest arm and most perfect reach

2. The crown of the caliphate refused the words of one who does not
Observe or take into account your ascent

3. With what temperament, O Rose, should I praise you
With it from the shared glory?

4. Is it because of the favors in which there is no favor?
For you have many generous and caring hands

5. Or is it because of the creation that has become
Generous morning and evening, during hardship and ease?

6. Or is it the aspirations that the kingdom has made burn
With the aspiration of one with two meadows and a skull?

7. Or is it the times in which you have made rich
The singing of the exalted above the vile?

8. And I was certain, O Rose, that you are the most deserving young man
To be titled "the brave"?

9. And how many times it called upon the gazelles to hearts
While your fragrance made them tranquil, they will not wander

10. I ransom Abu Al-Hussam, I do not conceal
Men who have avoided the bounty of character

11. His virtues distinguish him above them
As the seen is distinguished above the heard

12. I see, O Rose, your counterpart in lowness
And your presence in height and elevation

13. And your fire in extinguishing every peril
And bounty that rivals the torrents

14. For the arrogant and the prestigious among them
A comet for homes or plowers

15. And it is your right, it is most precious to me
When I swear by the place of deception

16. I have loved to praise you, not for anything
That returns an adverse or beneficial face

17. But for your invention in sublime traits
Untainted by any invention

18. May God protect you from the madness of rulers
For you are the best shepherd for favors

19. When your steeds and mounts travelled
O hopes of hearts with the times

20. And whoever does not mourn your departure from us
Is considered among the fallen goods

21. And the most difficult afflictions of time for me
Are the bereavement of separation after gathering

22. Especially the separation of one whose policy was
Scorpion stings of snakes

23. Defending the kingdom of my father, the brave
When the inefficient fall short of defense

24. Farewell, your lofty riders called me
To blame separation and farewell

25. You have preserved the sleep of the people’s countries
And our separation has caused us to stray into oblivion

26. We will miss the life in you, O our selves
And nothing missed in life can be regained

27. For your resolves have continued
To lead the times with obedient command
