1. O Imam of purity and virtue
Listen and pay heed to my words

2. Far be it from your right hand that it should lean
Towards what has been offered of blame

3. Tell me, in your noble disposition, where is the beauty of care?
Or have you not pledged to me

4. After sitting, to stand?
Alas! O Abu Al-Barakat be

5. To your servant a blessed advocate
For by your love, truly

6. I have never been one to blame
I would not do good with a dark star

7. If not for my life and my integrity
And the worthlessness of the army that

8. To me is less than speech
And if your resolve was in

9. My palm I would forego the swords
And whenever you shake my hand, I would not

10. Be pleased with a handshake of clouds
So submit, and stay in bounty

11. You will see, despite the censurers
