1. I have the sanctity of the stranger guest and sanctity
That I gained from your existence, the fruit of knowledge

2. And you brought me into the hearts of assemblies
I moved with your heights, and it is higher than the star

3. So are you, O treasure of the Imams, coming to me
And smoothing the path for me according to precedent?

4. For the smile of lightning is of no use
If it does not dwell above the ground towards which it rushes

5. And how strange that a criminal passed
With what hurt me without sin or crime

6. Matters that became in the soul like broken glass
And a fortune that makes time stumble to the bone

7. And what came to me from lack of wisdom happened
And yet I am led to the paths of wisdom

8. But these are the decrees that lead their ways
Over the man whether he chooses them or not

9. And how many glorious Persian hands
Came to me as healing comes to illness

10. So say to the nights that halted at an isthmus
Surrounded by two seas, their abundance flooding

11. If another chose the shore of distress as a harbor
He would find my directions all the shore of distress

12. And in any shade of them in which I lodged
I saw the arrival of favors by my rule
